The unexamined routine is not worth performing.
"For Your Consideration" is a lecture by Brian Miller, nationally acclaimed magician and philosopher, available for magic organizations and conventions.
The first half of the lecture will place "sponge balls" under a microscope in order to examine every move, gesture, line of script, and moment of misdirection. We will see that a magician does not have to be innovative or radical to create a fresh piece of magic; all it takes is an obsessive attention to detail!
In the second half of the lecture, we will learn a handful of strange tricks involving cards and/or coins, while the emphasis remains on the theatrics of performing.
Throughout the lecture, Brian will take the time to explain the motivation behind the moves and script.
This is not a dealer's show. Brian teaches absolutely everything that he demonstrates in the lecture, including how to make your own special gimmicked deck for one excellent card trick.
